APPLE & MASALA CHAI CAKE LOAF

WE'VE USED A THERMOMIXTM FOR THIS RECIPE
Our Masala Chai has taken this beautiful favourite Apple Cake Loaf to a whole new and unique level. With the perfect balance of sweet and spice, with a bit of fruit to lift your daily intake, it will definitely impress the masses.
Ingredients
2 Apples
2 Tsp P2P Masala Chai
125g Butter
225g Self raising flour
1 tsp Vanilla extract
2 Eggs
165g Caster sugar
130g Milk
Method
- Pre heat oven 180°
- Line a loaf tin
- Peel apples and cut into small cubes (approx. 1cm)
- Place apples into a bowl and add the Masala Chai
- Stir to coat apples well
- In your ThermomixTM, add to the bowl flour, sugar, butter, vanilla, eggs and milk
- Mix for 15 seconds, speed 5
- Scrape down sides
- Mix for 10 seconds, speed 4
- Add apples and stir to combine by hand
- Pour mixture into prepared loaf tin
- Bake for 50-55mins
Allow to cool in tin for 5mins before moving to a cooking rack
